A Section 21 Notice (Fixed Term) is an eviction notice used when a landlord wishes to terminate an assured shorthold tenancy at the end of a fixed term. A Section 21 Notice (Periodic) is used by a landlord to end a periodic term after the fixed term has expired. A Section 8 Notice is an eviction letter used by a landlord to terminate a tenancy before the fixed term has expired.
